AARON’S WISH 2018 – Raising awareness and vital funds for brain cancer research

By Sandra Ward

The Ray White Dural team are proud to once again be attending the Aaron’s Wish Charity Dinner which takes place annually and raises much needed funds for brain cancer research.

In 2013 Kim and Michael Iori of Rouse Hill lost their precious son Aaron to brain cancer.  Every year around 1,600 Australians are diagnosed with brain cancer with it being the leading cause of cancer deaths in children under 10 and young people under 39.  Over the past five years Kim and Michael, together with a dedicated team of volunteers, have raised $255,000 – with zero administration costs and every dollar raised going to Cancer Council NSW.

This year’s event, the sixth black-tie dinner for Aaron’s Wish, will be held on 28th July, 2018 at Lily’s Function Centre in Seven Hills.  It will be a classy event with lots of entertainment and fun thrown in to the raising of funds.  You are guaranteed to have a great night and we would encourage you to book a table, invite some friends and help the Iori’s continue their amazing fund raising journey.
