Aaron’s Wish 2017

By Sandra Ward

Once again, Ray White Dural are proud to be involved in this very worthy charity.

A great night was had by all the team and we were thrilled to see our donation of a children’s bike contribute towards the success of the night.  An incredible $57,300 was raised for the Cancer Council NSW with all the money going towards much needed brain cancer research and giving hope to those on the brain cancer journey.

Aaron’s Wish was established in 2013, in memory of Aaron Iori, who lost his brave battle with brain cancer earlier that year, and in the memory of many others who have also been touched by the disease.  Many people are still unaware that brain cancer is one of the most lethal yet understudied of all cancers. It is the leading cancer killer for young people under age 39 and children under 10, yet receives very little research funding.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Aaron’s Wish team for all the dedication and hard work that goes into planning this event.  We urge you all to go to their website –  www.aaronswish.com.au – to find out more about the fabulous work they do towards finding a cure for brain cancer as well as the personal story behind their journey.
